Spend 1 whole day hopping from beach to beach along the coast of Japara, hop to an island or two nearby and enjoy the white sands and the calm shallow water. In the morning we leave from Bandengan beach to Panjang island nearby where you can take a walk, a dip or just lying on the white sand. Then we have BBQ-ed fish and sea food for lunch on Empurancak or Ombakmati beach. After lunch we take a break from the beach and visit the Lake of a Million Roots. There you can use the hanging roots to swing like Tarzan or climb up the trees. The last hours of sunlight we can spend on Bondo beach while having a campfire. Dinner at a local warung that serves the delicious Bondo style tahu campur will close the day.
If you take a 2nd day, we will take you to see the sunrise from the open sea on a fishermen’s boat (see JEPARA FISHING EXPERIENCE). With the boat we will then venture off to island Mandalika off the northernmost beach of Java. We have lunch on that island. From that island we spend an hour or two on the rocks of Benteng Portugis beach or on a hill on Goa Manik beach before sailing home while waiting for the sunset on the boat.
